After discovering Jonathan's food allergies and limiting our diets to help with his severe eczema I got pregnant, and now Jonathan has a little sister, Kiyanna. Unfortunately, she has not only the same allergies, but even more! And the chiropractor we used for Jonathan's allergies is too far away, and becoming too expensive to continue to see her. So instead of continuing to limit our diet even further, I started looking for other alternatives.

After Kiyanna was a year old, we stopped seeing our chiropractor. Kiyanna was still having a bad rash, and sensitive to so many foods: touch allergic to all dairy and allergic to milk, wheat, oats, corn, peanuts, cashews, sugars, soy, eggs. And Kiyanna is also severely allergic to leaves, so until there are no more leaves on the ground outside, she has to stay inside. :(

In my research over the past years I had heard of NAET but my previous chiropractor said it would be impractical because of our wide range of allergies. But with me having shoulder pain, and the children not being able to eat hardly anything, especially treats for the holidays, found me searching again. I found a chiropractor in a nearby town who also practices NAET. And his office visits were not anywhere near as expensive. At first I was cautious, thinking "You get what you pay for."

This new chiropractor was able to help with my shoulder pain, and then some hip pain that I had even before Kiyanna was born. The other chiropractor had not been able to help that. Now we are getting NAET treatments for the food allergies. After our first treatment for milk and dairy I noticed a definite improvement in Kiyanna's diaper rash. And we were recently treated again.

I hope these treatments continue to help our family not be so dependent on carrying our own food wherever we go. And especially for the children, it is so hard to see so many things that they cannot have, whether it be snacks, pot lucks, family gatherings or going out to eat.
