Going up one side of the box canyon where Telluride is nestled, we look down on the town. The third photo is the park where we had lunch, between the parking lot and river.
Looking to the end of the box canyon, the switchbacks of Black Bear Road are visible, with Bridal Veil Falls to the right.
The town and mining remains of Tom Boy are on the hillsides going over the pass.

Water, stumps, interesting views as I walk along from lower Tom Boy to upper Tom Boy.
Ruined building, some supports and foundations, trees and bushes, water and rocks all throughout Tom Boy. It is a lot of work hiking at 13,000 feet.
More landscape photos, playing with my camera and a few different settings. The clouds, blue sky, gray rock, white snow, green slopes all contribute to the scene.
Down into Ouray we saw fields of flowers and even some wildlife.
Down the valley looking up the hill, watching each of the vehicles as they go down.
Trying to take a vista photo, and Ken insists on getting his vehicle in the way! LOL
